Malik Phool Awan President of Cricket Board Hafizabad With Amer Sheikh enjoy the site of Mahodand Valley and Lake

About 30 km north of Kalam Valley on an unbelievebly bad road lies the beautiful Mahodand Lake. Maho means "fish" in the local language and the lake is trully brimming with fish. The lake is very large and is the main source of River Swat. It is located in a large valley at almost 10,000 feet above sea level and surrounded by mountains that are even higher. There are a number of streams coming down from the mountain bringing with them the freezing waters from the melted snow up top. Boating is also possible in the lake. You can also see some glaciers in the mountains near the lake as well.
Seen here is a shot of the road through the scenic Mahodand Valley. River Swat is also partially visible in the corner. The undeveloped dirt and rock road is almost indistinguishable from the surrounding landscape
